Kingman
embraces the concept that workforce development begins
in our schools. Award-winning educational facilities
from pre-school through post-secondary level provide
learning opportunities for every stage in a student's
development.
Mohave Community
College
Mohave Community College is dedicated to helping
businesses and organizations reach their goals through
education and training. Continuing education is accomplished
through corporate training programs, organizational
development sessions and regularly scheduled non-credit
workshops that are designed to improve job skills
for all individuals, regardless of corporate affiliation.
Mohave
Community College also will work with employers to
arrange training in skills that are unique to their
individual business, and offers Associates degrees
and certification programs. Northern Arizona University
offers bachelors and masters degrees through satellite
facilities at the local community college campus.
One-Stop Center
Mohave County and the Arizona
Department of Economic Security, in conjunction with
the Local Workforce Investment Board, offers a one-stop
center for listing employment opportunities, screening
potential employees and establishing special training
programs. The center also coordinates GED and adult
education classes.
